Just heard an interview on npr with a former Israeli negotiator who clearly articulated the frustration with Bibi and his govt

Basically, the negotiator said the Israelis have gone too far and should capitulate to Hamas. They should give Hamas Gaza back, remove all their military forces from Gaza and pretty much give whatever prisoners Hamas wants that Israel has in exchange for the hostages. And, he said Israel should offer to do all this in 3 weeks time. This is an extreme, and extremely unreasonable position.

The hostages are more important than the mission to this particular group, it'd appear.

Biden armchair quarterbacking and making Israel the bad guy still by stating that Netanyahu hasn't done enough to resolve this.

The best statement that the Israelis' can make to the rest of the Middle East is to kill every single Hamas member, then take every last inch of Gaza back and then kick every surviving Gaza Palestinian out of Israel.

That would stand as a warning to every other M.E. country that Israel will completely and totally destroy you if you mess with them.
