I've been reading the drudge report for my news since 2008/2009 when I was a senior in high school.

I really liked it as it was an aggregator of news from across the web. I would take some sources with a grain of salt vs others.

But is it just me or does it just vehmently suck now? It's like Matt Drudge has just gone to the left in a major way. I'm not really talking about the articles themselves but the titles he puts on even the basic political news stories. It's quite insufferable IMO.


Does anyone have any alternative websites to suggest instead?

There's a news aggregator sure I've seen advertised on a couple YouTube channels I follow. Let me see if I can find it.

Drudge was bought out, Matt Drudge no longer owns the site.

Troubling that it took you ~10 years to notice Drudge is liberal biased

Drudge and his influence have been gone for 8 years now.

I now use Rantingly.com for that same format of news, but honestly I get most of it right here on this site.

Rantingly.com and normalAmerican.com/news are what I use in place of that now-trash news compiler site. It saddened me to delete my Drudge Report 2006 bookmark a few years ago, when I just grew too sick of the new ownership.

Drudge isn't bad typically, and has been very critical of Biden throughout his term.

But it is vehemently anti-Trump...to the point it swings pro-Biden/Harris during the election year.

It's very very obvious and ruins their site.

Drudge hasn't had anything to do with that site for years.

You're JUST NOW seeing the bias? It was obvious almost the day after he sold it. I haven't been to that site since about 2017.

Dropped it during the 2020 election. Went back a few weeks ago and it was intolerable. It's a real shame Matt sold out to these marxists.

Rantingly.com is close to what Drudge used to be.

I am amazed that every few weeks for the past several years, this exact topic pops up on this board.

The change on that website wasn't gradual. I don't know how someone could have missed it.

It's not that I missed it - it was more that it was a force of habit going to the site to get the news but at least we all know I'm Claratin clear now, right?

This. Reynolds, Sara Hoyt, and the rest of his co-bloggers that provide the updates represent a pretty wide range of the (true) conservative spectrum and do a great job aggregating news and content from all over the place.
