Raise taxes and increase wages means fewer jobs and high inflation. Who is going to bear the brunt of the increases in corporate expenses. We are. The people who don't have a basic understanding of economics don't understand this and think that the greedy corporations will pay. Then they will try socialist things that will do what they always do and that's fail. This election is not about trump vs Harris. At this point it's about capitalism vs socialism.

If you compete with other international businesses, it's inexplicable how that CEO would ever support this policy. Your net "costs" just increased while your competitors' is unchanged.

Add to this the ridiculous amounts of regulation US corporations face when compared to their international (not Caucasian) counterparts - I quit my last job, got tired of SOX regulations, in the S/W industry..HAd my best developers explaining salesforce flows to auditors. And they would compare code using print outs. Complete waste of time. While our competitors in Asia have their best teams, you know, developing products.

I give it about 10 years before US corporations start to HQ outside the US, Kamala if she's elected and her insane policies might make it a lot sooner.
