Looking at those photographs, I'm not sure that the reflections prove much since they might be reflecting above the crowd, not reflecting the crowd. Those engines are not that low to the ground.

Looks like some of you owe eric76 an apology. I won't hold my breath.

Heh...the min ground clearance of a 757 engine is 29 inches, so I dont think thats gonna fly
Nobody is claiming that they are standing under the engine.

I'm deeply disturbed there are that many people at a Harris rally, even if half are photoshopped.

That's a lot of idiots.

That said, it would be surprising that they would allow the crowd to be so close, but I cannot be sure.

More problematic, I think, is the vast differences in height of the crowd. It's like some of them are standing on stepladders.

Compare, for example, how far they keep the crowd back in this pictures:

So the picture is suspicious, but more because of how close the crowd is there.

Just so we are clear. It shows the reflection of the guy standing in front of the engine, then a whole bunch of nothing and then the building the crowd is supposedly standing in sans the freaking crowd. And you think somehow it's a reflection from above the crowd?

This is a stupid controversy. Leftist will be happy that y'all are obsessing over this because it brings attention to the fact that Kamala can draw a crowd, unlike sleepy joe.

Don't take the bait.

There is no controversy; the publicity is deceitful and the bimbo cannot draw crowds. Canceling concerts after event start time to parade out candidate floozy for photo op or photoshopped crowds required for the unpopular candidate.

Guitarsoup is 100% correct.

I'm not at his level, but I've been a photographer for 50 years.

It's a real photo, simply looks weird because it is a telephoto lens.

Please go un-star all the posts saying it is fake

Yes, this is fake. For instance, why would people hold signs backwards? And the tail serial number is missing

The foreground may be real and the rest fake?

The idea is that there is manipulation to the photos to inflate the crowd on the photos... you can't look for one correct element of the photo then claim the whole thing is "not fake".

Two different photos

I really don't get why someone photoshopped the first one. There are plenty of shots showing the plane parked outside the hanger and the crowd inside.

Maybe the crowd wasn't big enough for their liking

No serial number either in this picture with JD Vance. It means they got to him, too. Is no one safe from the conspiracy?

Got to say it's weird the S/N is not showing. It's quite easy to see in most stock photos of the SAM aircraft

It appears to me that the Kamala plane conspiracy theory shows a mix of AI photos, as well as real photos that look a little off, because they have been taken with telephoto lenses.

You can take "no tail number" off the list, though. For whatever reason, the plane Harris has been using lately does NOT have the usual tail number that the Air Force SAM aircraft have. Don't know if that signals a change in design, a maintenance issue, or what.

But the number is definitely gone

https://www.twz.com/air-force-c-32-jets-are-going-incognito-under-new-security-policy

Quote:

Serial numbers are disappearing from the tails and rear fuselages of U.S. Air Force's secretive C-32B Gatekeeper personnel transport planes and its more commonly seen C-32A executive transport jets that often fly in the Air Force Two and Air Force One role. This is part of an initiative that originated with the service's Air Mobility Command that is ostensibly intended to improve operations security, but some experts and observers have questioned its utility.

For what appears to be the first time anywhere, plane spotters caught a serial number-less C-32A landing at Yokota Air Base in Japan, a major U.S. Air Force hub in that country, last week. The aircraft in question was reportedly serial number 98-0002, based on publicly available flight tracking data.

Starting last month, spotters began to observe Air Force C-32Bs without serial numbers in the typical location on their rear fuselages, as well.

"The Air Force does fly aircraft with limited markings," Ann Stefanek, an Air Force spokesperson, said last month, speaking generally, in response to queries from The War Zone about the disappearing markings on the C-32Bs. "As confirmed earlier this year, aircraft markings in general are being reduced for operational security reasons as a part of our normal fleet maintenance management process."

In March, Air Mobility Command (AMC) had confirmed that it would be steadily removing serial numbers, tail codes, and distinctive and often brightly colored tail flashes from various cargo aircraft and aerial refueling tankers under its purview. It was not immediately clear at that time what specific aircraft type might be affected under the new policy, but KC-46 and KC-135 tankers and C-130J transports had already been spotted by that point without these identifying markings. C-17 and C-5 cargo planes and KC-10 tankers are also among the aircraft assigned to AMC.

So a legitimate, unedited photo can be fake if it doesn't conform to your preconceived notions?

That's gotta be annoying, where I worked a while ago we had a bunch of 135s, 10, and C-17s all over the place because we did maintenance and mod work on them. The planes tended to move around so it really helped to go see 58-0123 or whatever you were looking for high up on the tail and not waste a bunch of time wandering around all over the place. Or even just being told "it's the Travis one on the flight line."
