His special is called "Burn the boats." Probably a reference to him going full steam ahead against the woke mind virus, and finally picking a side, for good, against it.

This is good news, for a couple of reasons:

1) Joe Rogan's audience is larger than all MSM combined. He won the new media format space for adults.
2) Anyone with influence voicing distrust for institutions is a good thing right now. Most of them need to be torn down and either discarded or rebuilt.

I wouldn't say he's "red pilled" the same way a lot of people think of it. He's just a reasonable liberal. There is a reason he loves Austin, though.

Rogan wears his mind on his sleeve with his flavor of standup. His previous standup still showed true blue believer colors - despite conversing with Peterson and others. When you contrast them, this one shows his paradigm has been shifted significantly rightward. He's said for a long time now that he would vote for Trump over Biden. He hasn't said anything like that about Harris, but he's been pretty generous with his criticism of her.

I have a hard time calling him a "liberal" now...he is VERY conservative on a lot of things. 5-6 years ago? Sure...old school honest type liberal that you could actually have a reasonable conversation with (very rare).

He believes in well-intentioned social safety net type programs, but also acknowledges it's probably a pipe dream bc the government is corrupt and just sucks at running things. Guess you could say he's a liberal idealist on a few things...but that list has shrunk immensely in the last handful of years. He certainly despises the dems/libs more than the GOP/conservatives.

For a guy who was raised by left winged hippies, that's not too bad.

We don't need him to be. Not sure we WANT him to be, given the target demographics (and I loved Rush...even as a redpilled kid listening to him with my dad). He rails on liberals plenty...but we really want him to get young men (and some women who can stand his show) to learn to THINK...and QUESTION EVERYTHING.

He and Elon have very significant roles in helping shape the future by giving alternate sources of information and growing distrust in government and media.

You also don't want him to completely turn off the millions of dudes who aren't conservatives or libertarians...but may one day end up in those camps. He has converted countless liberal and CM Millennial and Gen Z males.

Podcasts in general are red pilling a lot of people. Once you get past sound bites and listen to a 2 hour discussion about a current topic, there's no other logical conclusion ther than the government is lying to you and this is all intentional.

I think Rush would be a lot more red/black pilled on things like wars now if he were still around TBH. I am 43 and I was the same way not long ago...I know plenty of boomers who have changed their tune and recognized the err of their past ways...acknowledging they were solid patriots, who were just duped.

Amazing what happens when you have on a variety of guests and actually take the time to listen and talk through multiple points of view. The far left media talking points fall apart and even traditional liberals start to understand that the right is not evil and actually has some very down the middle and logical views with America's best interests at heart.
