Also, while talking against AR-15s, he's mentioned carrying his rifle "into war". I believe that was an untrue characterization.
Also sucks for him if he carried an AR 15 into battle

Here I am on our Iraq deployment with the Minnesota Army National Guard, the very same deployment @Tim_Walz bailed on. https://t.co/FNEhq3FHFM pic.twitter.com/unfNptN2Oi

🧵I have tried to take my time in responding to stories about Tim Walz's service record. The hypocrisy astounds me.

I was asked to provide my medical records & grilled about why my brain injury didn't earn me a Purple Heart. Contrast this with Tim Walz, whose entire political career appears to be based on a lie: that he served in Iraq when he did not.
— Hung Cao (@HungCao_VA) August 7, 2024
All I know for sure is, when I was deployed to Iraq, I never saw Tim Walz there.
— Hung Cao (@HungCao_VA) August 7, 2024
While it upsets me to read how Walz abandoned his unit before the deployment, it frankly upsets me more that this man spent 20 years as a candidate and in elected office, now seeking the Vice Presidency of the United States, and no one in the media asked him before or since any…

The truth is: we all know the answer. And it is disqualifying for future service as our Vice President.

𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆: Tim Walz claimed in an interview during his first congressional run that he fought in Iraq.

A Bloomberg report has revealed that they covered up his lie by changing "Iraq" to "Italy."

He literally bailed when called upon. I know that goaltending for lying leftists is a hobby for you but come on.Ghost of Andrew Eaton said:
This argument will not hit well with reasonable people. The man served his country/state unlike most people.
Again, I'm voting for Trump.

He keeps saying he served 25 years in the army and in my mind that is quite different than serving 25 years in the national guard.
He served in the national guard 1 weekend a month and two weeks in the summer - during his national guard duty he was called up for a couple of months to deploy as active duty army over the entire 25 years.
In my mind this is stolen valor as well by him saying he was serving in the army for 25 years.
