None of Trump's policies led to any kind of increase, at all. Biden, reversed his policies on the border, practically day one and it has gone downhill since then. All of this was under Biden and Kamala. they just continue to blame Trump for everything they have done.

Just because the media, Democrats, and RINOs proclaim it was a good border bill doesn't make it so.

As I recall, it would have written into law that restrictions didn't kick in until border crossings hit 4000 per day or more for several days in a row, and the President would have discretion to increase that number. That would have codified 1.5 million illegals per year minimum.

Trump and the smarter Republicans said no, this is a joke. It's a terrible border bill. Let's win the next election and do it right.

I imagine if Trump wins and gets a majority in the House and Senate and propose a genuinely tough border bill, Democrats will scream racism, racism and won't support it. I hope to see the shoe on the other foot real soon.

That "Border Bill" would have allowed up to 34,999 crossers a week (they would "shut it down" if the weekly average went above 5,000/day). Do the math - that's over 1.8 million a year, and that's not counting "gotaways" and "never saw thems". That's like being thankful that Mike Tyson is punching you slower.
