He stammered for a couple of minutes, repeated the question several times, then finally said "I don't know why the govt sells bonds".

Inflation is but a symptom of our economic fiscal woes. Neither party has the desire to do what's needed to fix it long term. They can hand wave all they want but it's political theater.

There's more, but none of it good; after she concluded the word salad of restating the question, the reporter said something to the effect of "Yes, inflation is bad, but how does what you say fix the problem?" She was unable to answer the question; full stop. This video isn't a manipulation of her answer (unlike what the Harris campaign did recently with Joe Rogan's comments about her that they edited to create a commercial that painted her in a positive light but subsequently had to pull after a Cease & Desist demand), but rather illustrative of her cognitive inability to understand ANYTHING related to ANYTHING!! (That last part was hyperbole, but she really is that freaking stupid.)
