I think what's going on is that it is their tactic to disarm a bully. And let's face it, Trump is a bully, and some of Vance's comments over the weekend seem to indicate he may have some of those tendencies as well. Instead of attacking and punching a bully in the mouth, they're sitting back and laughing. Whether it will work or not remains to be seen.

Doesn't take long going through your post history to find examples of bullying. You're not in a position to hurl accusations.

Kamala has a rust belt problem with blue collar types and unions. Biden peeled off some of that in 2020 as he could be seen as a big union guy while Kamala has no credibility in that space. Trump is targeting them and the Vance pick was to shore up support in the rust belt.

I think Kamala's counterpunch is to try to target women. I think to do that, she's trying to paint Trump and Vance as "creeper" type weird wanting to control women and force them into a Stepford wives situation. Which on some women may work but not sure its going to be that effective overall considering there are new depths every day to the degree to which the Democrats plumb the depths of weirdness.

Yes that is the play. Many women think the traditional family role of a wife is "weird" as women have been told their whole lives they shouldn't be that. So, Vance mansplaining how they should act feeds directly into them motivating the suburban mom vote.
