Apparently, dems are laundering large sums of money through actblue. They use people who have donated small amounts through act blue. They then assign large donations using these small donors names and addresses.

I suppose this is how they get around some rules.

The most beautiful thing that could happed would be a class action lawsuit to recover all those donations.

We hear about how wealthy blue mega donors are withholding millions until Joe steps aside and then when he does we are then told millions flow in, but it's all small donors.

Okay.

So basically they take the roster of those who have donated small amounts and repeatedly fake donations from those addresses and launder dark money into the dem machine. disgusting

It would be really interesting to get merchant data for those donations. All of this is happening by bank draft or credit card so there are records of the accounts used to make those donations. I'm guessing the lady that gives $5 every once in awhile will have like 12 donations of $5 from credit card ending x1234 then like 995 donor $1000 for a card ending x5678 that isn't in her name. It would seem that with subpoena power you could prove that.

A reasonable person would think it should be easily provable. My guess is they won't be able to find those records for some reason. Or all of a sudden they'll care about privacy or some other reason to obfuscate. Meanwhile, the IRS knows about that birdhouse you sold on Etsy.

Remember Trump got a statute of limitations expired misdemeanor bootstrapped up to 34 felony counts for the horrendous sin of classifying NDA payments as "legal fees"...the horror. Somehow I doubt Dems will get the same type treatment.

If they did a forensic accounting on that, they should find massive FEC violations and the fraud used to conceal it and the conspiracy used to enact it would make all participants subject to prosecution as a criminal conspiracy, would if not?

Now we're getting into the area of banking fraud. Stripe or whatever merchant processor they're using has the records. They aren't going to suddenly get lost.

This would also explain why they are incessantly asking for small donations online. It will allow them to launder larger donations from already legally maxed out or flat out unlawful sources.

How sad is it that this is what we've come to? I don't blame you because I'm certainly not innocent here. Blatant corruption, incompetence, and complete lack of accountability are just expected now and we just shrug it off with a "welp, whatcha gonna do about it?" The farthest we ever go is calling for an investigation. And if it goes anywhere from there, it always amounts to the perpetrators or collaborators investigating themselves.

This claim is based on someone with the same name donating but whenever someone posts a screenshot of the details its a person living in Pittsburgh and not actually him. Crazy ****ups like that at his age arent exactly the political donor type.

Ok... I thought Act Blue was a PAC and the donation rules were much less limited within PAC's? I could see laundering money within the campaign directly but why a PAC?

I'm obviously confused or missing something.

I'm at work so I haven't watched the video yet.

Edit... I get that there's obviously something very fishy here, but what is the gian by funneling it through the PAC? Are there APC limitations that I'm not aware of? Is the thinking it's just people that don't want their name out there? Funneling cartel money?

Of course they won't get lost in reality. I'm saying that or a myriad of other excuses would be used to cover this up. Would that be a totally absurd excuse? Yes. And I wouldn't put it past them. There was a time when I thought using a slightly sloped roof as an excuse would've been too unreasonable.

No one. They always take illegal donations. They've done it in every cycle at least since Clinton and the Buddhist monks. They find a loophole and exploit it to take foreign money or huge sums from wealthy individuals. They will never comply with the law.

This is the ultimate question. Could we see a situation where a state attorney general was willing to pursue money laundering or identify theft charges on behalf of people living in their state? My guess is there are people on the list from all 57 states. This is a potentially big can of worms.

We don't need to get money out of politics. We need to get illegal money out of politics. Like voter ID, dims will fight that tooth and nail.
