The nomination process (primaries) are internal democrat policies not elections in the sense of elections for a public position. They (the party) can run things however they want to and people can either get on board or not vote dem. It's basically a club.

They have no obligation to do anything, other than their own internal rules, which they can change at their whim.

Sometimes I see exotic, high-minded points brought out on this board, and I get a bit uncomfortable, thinking to myself "wow what if they're right, after all?"

The Dem party couldn't care less about the Dem voters or any other voters for that matter . They care about power and control and installing a permanent ruling class that does whatever they want to do and everyone else has no say whatsoever. If they suceed it will not end well for them imo, but I don't have a clear vision of the timeline . It will be years to decades tho.

You can easily see that this has all been orchestrated. From the early debate debacle to how all Dems & media are falling in line behind Harris. She is a complete disaster and the media is working their ass off to spin it in every way for her. They are already spreading the "is Trump too old" narrative. I disagree. I believe prior to the debate most Dem voters thought Biden was fundamentally capable. That debate shined the light on the truth and that is why they bagged him. Not sure on the inner circle.

If only the soccer mom's and POC that make up the dem voters would notice the hypocrisy and outright lies their party leadership sells them day after day, year after year, election after election.

How do you reconcile that the. Biden's are a "crime family" when Trump, his business and his family have literally been convicted or adjudicated of fraud (business, insurance, Trump U and charity).

I don't have any idea about Biden's but I assume he has been corrupt. How is Trump not the head of a crime family too?

Trump has to win , or this will be the last election where the "people" actually have a vote, that counts.
Sure, the shell of democracy will be around, but votes won't count otherwise.

Judging by reactions, it appears the vast majority of Dem primary voters are happy with this decision.
