The right call. Hopefully this news is legit. Heads had to roll and she was the top head. That statement about why nobody was on that roof cause sloped was pretty dumb. Once she opened her mouth and said something like that, any initial benefit of the doubt for some reasonable explanation other than incompetence was flushed.

Yes, they can. Does not mean she has to or will show up. I was jumping to the end game.

She can avoid a congressional summons. then it falls to DoJ to pursue it, and that is at their discretion.

Congress can also pursue a civil suit against her, but there is no criminal penalties for that.
