If they go through with this, and try to vote on a nominee at the convention, it's going to make the GOP's process to replace Kevin McCarthy look like a Sunday picnic.
This could still end up blowing up in their face. Though maybe they're at a point where they're just desperate enough to get a younger face at the top of the ticket in order to avoid down-ballot losses in blue and purple states.

If Biden drops out of the race, he will have to resign the presidency. The democrats will be in a worse position if he doesn't. That is why I don't think he will drop out. And Jill Biden is the real evil one with the lust for power. She would spend 4 years playing weekend at Bernie's if she could.
