Yes. Matt is class of '04 or '05, I believe.

They did use the fact that the Charleston church shooter had some social media pictures of him wearing a jacket with a Rhodesian flag as evidence that he was a White Supremacist.

In a situation like this, anytime the left and anti-gun lobby can find anything they don't like, they'll want to use it to paint everybody who has any affiliation, even tangentially with the perpetrator, as the same kind of people as the perpetrator.

Conversely, in the Nashville school shooting, they never tried to paint all T people with that same brush though. So, it's kind of a one-way valve.

I've met Matt several times at DriveTanks. He's a very good guy. First time we met was in October '21 after we beat Alabama. That was the same day he filmed his PKM video - he waited for us to finish with it before he started.

I've met all those guys. Brandon Herrera, Cody (Donut Operator), all salt of the earth group of dudes who somehow managed to live all of our dream jobs.

I agree that it's ridiculous either way, but the difference is that the shooter was wearing a tshirt from a gun-focused channel. There's nothing wrong with having a gun-focused channel and nobody should have anything negative to say about Matt, but a better question would be "would they be calling Sig Sauer (or whatever) because their logos were on his shirt?"

Libs already using the shirt to claim shooter is a "conservative".

As someone who owns a business in an adjacent industry to Matt, this is one of my worst nightmares. Wishing him all the best. I hope his businesses come out relatively unscathed in the end.

Matt does nothing but promote firearm safety and raises awareness about great products. Works his ass off and has been at it for a decade. I wondered how much backlash he would get the minute I saw that shirt. As big as the Aggie network is and the Texas Forever believers as well as the actual gun enthusiasts nation I hope and think he's going to be fine.
