One of his classmates said he tried out but did not make the rifle team and never tried again.

On the question of capturing the actual bullet on camera. Yes, very possible. Assuming a 1/1000 sec camera shutter speed (common for action photos) and a bullet traveling at 2,500 fps (55 gr bullet with 16" AR barrel at 125 yds) .. the captured image of the bullet trail would be 2.5 feet long. About what we saw.
I think most of what is seen in that photo is biological material and not necessarily all bullet contrail.
that is a photo of the bullet, good lord people. When an object is traveling much faster than the shutter speed (or framerate) of the camera, it leaves streaks.

As an extreme example, if you took a photo with a 5 second exposure and walked across the frame, your body would leave a streak. This is the same thing, except like what was already explained above.

I work with cameras for a living. To better help people understand, a high "shutter" basically defines edges, gives a cleaner picture, and is essentially like shooting a moving photo. As mentioned above, it allows for high-res photos of movement. Its limitations are indoors, where artificial light messes with the shot (it's actually shuttering so fast you can see a vision of the wavelengths), which is why indoor shooting is done between 1/60-1/120. There are ways around this, but that's a general rule.

A very low shutter, anything less than 1/60 is how you get those cool rocket shots where it leaves a streak of light or a river seems to flow as one entity through a forest.

In outdoor shooting, I will always use the highest shutter possibly, usually 1/4000 or 1/10,000. It's a beautiful look. But even at those speeds, a high-velocity round is going to streak, which is what we see in the photo.

Can someone explain to me who this female SS is guarding?

It's the same agent that looks scared to death and fumbled around trying to holster her weapon

Maybe she stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Sounds like the local Police may have hired one of the Uvalde Police who refused to engage that shooter.

What the actual ****

"One local police officer climbed to the roof and encountered Crooks, who pointed his rifle at the officer. The officer retreated down the ladder, and Crooks quickly took a shot toward Trump, and that's when Secret Service snipers shot him, said the officials."

Such a small thing, but that interruption and the speed with which Crooks had to turn and fire probably saved Trump.

Seems like he didn't. At least not well.

Thank you for posting this. I'm already hearing "it was staged" non sense, as in, they wanted sympathy and not to kill him

Lol

Like hitting a moving target in the ear without the round going into the skull is remotely possible.

The skull is a weird thing. I know a guy who got shot in the head, the bullet rode around the skull and out. Tore the skin right side of his head off like a dog ear, but never penetrated the skull. Has a gnarly scar.

Also, I have a super right-wing buddy (like chem trails and tracking devices in COVID vax stuff), and he's convinced this is a government setup because the people in the background of the video didn't react by running in terror.

Not saying he was any kind of a marksman, but if he was confronted and turned quickly to get that shot off then I would think that he had to have a level of proficiency that would require practice.

People don't understand guns don't work like the movies.

Also, the mental gymnastics is just crazy to think this is "staged."

What's more likely… a staged assissanation attempt by the republicans just nicking Trump (and killing an innocent bystander), or a radicalized leftist who tried to kill Trump.

Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction, but in this case, I doubt it.

(Now, whether that dude had help… that's the open question in my mind).

The technocracy as well

The passive voice and soft verbiage used in some of these articles describing the incident shocks the conscience.

Most noteworthy example is that "Trump claims he was shot in the ear"

What's wild is they sent a single officer to investigate a report of a shooter on the roof.

INSTEAD OF IMMEDIATELY CALLING AN ALL STOP.

In what universe does a reported sighting of a rooftop shooter go out over the radio and its business as usual?

We completely detached from reality on every facet of this.

At this point I think almost all secret service have legit plausible deniability. Although not having someone posted on all nearby buildings, much less the closest one, is just as likely incompetence as it is set up.

I have a ton of questions, but I keep coming back to them using DNA and biometrics to id him. First that is really quick to get a DNA match and there has to be someone in the system to match it to or he is. His car was there. Wouldn't that be how they figured it out, but why say DNA and biometrics as the link. Since they didn't say the id was done by the car, either the cops made the id or he was known and they just arent admitting it.

There are millions out there just like him who have done nothing but absorb the MSM and Democrat propaganda for 8 years.

Surprised this did not happen earlier. The American left is absolutely unhinged and locked into an authoritarian information loop that would make Goebbels envious.

Then I go back to all the reports saying DNA match. Either it was a bad rumor that the press ran with or their process was withheld.

I've seen several sources stating that the counter sniper kill shot was made from 400 yards and Prince stated 488 yards. Where does this place the sniper? Certainly not where CS2 was located.

The car and the weapon would have pointed to him, but a positive ID would require something more. Remember, they didn't dump Osama's body overboard before making a positive ID by DNA.
