Would someone be so kind as to 'update' this poster as to 'what' the Arizona connection is? A van's license plate or state registration?? Whose van...the shooter (T.M. Crooks)?? If so...do we know the owner?

Thanks in advance for any useful/meaningful info!!

The Arizona plates and the VIN of the van they impounded they believe was used by Crooks?

That's not a rabbit hole in my mind. Now it may turn out to be fully explained but until that happens (and it passes the smell test) we don't know yet. They got McVeigh on much less.

Has it been confirmed that the shooter had a total of three means of conveyance at the site?

A car, van and bike?

I think I read some 100 pages ago that the van with AZ plates was at his home.

I still think in his twisted mind, he had in mind a James Bond scenario where he stealthily killed and ex-president, set off a bomb in his car, and while everyone was rushing toward the stage, or his flaming car, he would ride off into the sunset on his bicycle.

Who would stop a 20 year old, beta looking male on a bicycle in the midst of all the other chaos? He probably never saw an episode of Forensic Files.

The Van was at his parents home. Hadn't been registered in a couple of years. Not clear if it even ran. Not sure if the father bought it or the perp. The van was no where near the fairgrounds. He had a compact car and a bicycle at the fairgrounds. A drone and two homemade IEDs were found in his car. A remote that resembled a garage door opener was on his person and reportedly the devices detonator was on the same frequency.

Bomb making materials were found in the home of his parents. What type has yet to have been revealed, however you can build a bomb from items found in mom's kitchen.

Yet to see any evidence linking this kid to anything mentioned in the tweet other than the tweet so TBD it just sounds like a rabbit hole to me.

The only thing I've seen as close to a conspiracy is that the USSS got so lax and complacent with their duties to protect the president that eventually some took advantage of it. Was that the plan? Perhaps. Or they just have poor appointed leaders as in every department in this administration and the inevitable became reality

That wasn't what the neighbors behind the AGR facility in Butler said. The van was parked on their street where they knew it did not belong and it was a neighbor who went on camera about the time the police had secured it saying he saw AZ plates on it. Part of the reason he didn't believe it belonged on that street which was supposed to have somewhat restricted access for that day..

Okay Ms Hawg I stand corrected

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13644993/amp/thomas-crooks-police-dogs-search-explosives-van.html

Quote:

This is the moment police descended on Donald Trump shooter Thomas Crooks's van which he had abandoned on a side road near the Butler, Pennsylvania, fairground on which the former president's rally was held Saturday.

Obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com the footage clearly shows officers searching the battered white vehicle from which they removed explosives after they were led across fields to its location by their K9 unit.

Local resident Cheyenne Thoma whose husband Billy recorded the scenes told DailyMail.com, 'We could hear the dogs barking across the fields. They picked up his scent apparently and that's what led them to the van.'

Thoma revealed that investigators had later asked for footage from the family's ring doorbell only to learn that it had not been recording earlier that day.

Another told DailyMail.com that they had not realized who the van belonged to or its significance to the shocking events of Saturday afternoon until much later.

So we talking two vans now?

One in the vicinity of the fairgrounds and one at the kids house?

How many modes of conveyance did the shooter have at or near the Butler fairgrounds?

It's clear that technology we have at our disposal has impaired people's ability to assess and react to real world events.

They seemed to be taking photos, texting photos and chatting back on forth over text rather than taking affirmative action to deal with a known threat.

Before everyone had a computer in their pocket people had to use their own judgment.

In 2024, doing work consists of 'let's take a photo of the problem, text it to the boss.'

Geez please try and keep up

I stood corrected on where the van was towed from, posted a link to the report along with video.

One van found across from the fairgrounds.

So he had a bike by Building 2 door twelve under a tree

He had a compact car in the AGR parking lot on the water tower side of the AGR building where door 9 of building 2 and a loading dock is located

And he had a Van parked In front of Billy and Cheyenne Thoma's house on Meridian Rd across the street from the rally.

I think the car was with the IEDs and remote detonating capabilities was going to be a planned distraction to cover his getaway and instead he took either a 300 Win mag or a 338 Lapua to the noggin and lights out

Maybe jump on the bike to get to the van nearby and toss it in the van and flee, but 300 grains at about 2700 fps changed the plan

I mentioned the van with the Fox News link in here the day after the assassination attempt. It wasn't a U-Haul…it was an old van with much of the paint peeling off with Arizona plates. Obviously, he/parents could have bought it and never registered it, etc. But what remains is that no one (SS, FBI, Local police) has ever mentioned the van or the Arizona plates.

The only thing involving a ladder by him was a bloody receipt found in his pocket from Home Depot. No ladder was used to get on the building.

See Wray's testimony.
There is body cam video showing them using a ladder to go on the roof and see the dead shooter. It looks exactly like the collapsible ladder mentioned earlier in this thread.

It's a SWAT ladder that LE used to mount the roof

Two weeks after the biggest event in recent memory and we've learned virtually NOTHING about how this was allowed to happen. The biggest peep we've gotten out of federal law enforcement was an inquiry into whether Trump was struck with a bullet or shrapnel. We still have no idea who this mysterious "man in the gray suit" is, who supposedly works for the ATF - another organization that's been silent for two weeks now.

We will not get answers from our government. God bless the citizen journalists out there trying to get to the bottom of it.

Some were encrypted but doing a 703 FISA query they can detect which numbers he was in contact with, if not the content. As I understand it. Further, they can then try to track where that phone number was located using geolocation.

Sorry, anyone who thinks we "haven't learned anything" is just choosing not to pay attention to the details that have come out. People just keep saying we don't know things (like did he use a ladder) when information about items like that has already been confirmed.

We also have a basic overview of what happened and more info is getting verified and coming out every day. There are a ton of links in this thread alone and the detailed overview and timeline from Sen. Johnson and testimony from the police chief in particular has been helpful in determining the timeline.
