The Kamala Question

I find the predicament that the democrats have themselves in absolutely delicious to watch. The Republican party sucks as well but more out of a sense of pathologically lethargic "milquetoastedness" than the Democrats who are actively poisonous, so I revel in their reaping the fell harvest they've sown.

No more needs to be said about the Biden debate, he's toast; he's doner that done; the only question is if he loses the election to Trump, or if they replace him with someone else. They had to cheat their pants off to barely eke out a victory against Trump last time when Biden was far more popular, and outside of printing 30,000,000 votes this time they're not going to be able to do it.

The question that I have is how can they hope to replace him with anyone BUT Kamala Harris? She's the Vice President of the United States, to a President who took office at 78 years old. She was put in the position to be the President of the United States in the very real event that something happened to the octogenarian sitting President. They cannot replace Biden without Harris without shooting themselves in the foot and making them look extremely incompetent for putting her up as Vice President.

Harris is wildly unpopular, everyone knows she's got even less of a chance than Biden does of beating Trump in an election, she was only nominated as his running mate to fill the "black female" diversity quota that came along with running an old white dude for President.

The dems are cooked.

Biden will take this to the convention and then either have a "health incident" or voluntarily step down and refuse the nomination. They will then open the convention up and let the "will" of the delegates decide the nomination. Of course it will all be carefully scripted to push either Hillary or Newsome into the slot. Kamala will sink like a stone due to the "democratic process".

This. She is still super unlikable and Trump already stomped her once.

Conservatives have a hard time understanding that getting rid of Kamala isn't going to be a problem. Their imaginations are limited by logic, consistency and a belief in underlying principles.

Democrats believe in power and manipulation. They don't see their hypocrisy as a flaw. That they aren't afraid of being hypocrites is a weapon.

Yall are wrong. This isn't a primary. Dem voters have no say. The DNC will select HRC and their NPC voters will support her. Then we will hear about Trump being a racist, felon, insurectionist, Putin puppet that Hillary must get revenge on.....after all, the election was stolen from her in 2016.

HRC was behind the Mar a Lago raid, her team is running the DNC, and she has been plugged into the WH for couple years now.

What in the world are the dems going to do if the good Dr just flat out refuses to pull FJB out, and then Kamala refuses to step aside? The track record for Newsome is clear that he has destroyed CA and one would think there is no way in hell he could get elected, with so many data points.

We are about to see extreme tactics being used here, somehow by these power-hungry tyrants who run the show. They really have painted themselves into the corner.
I don't think you know me.

So the DNC would pull out Biden because he can't win and replace him with… someone who can't win?

Yes. Just like they replaced Bernie in 2016. You must not have been watching 2020 either. The dems just need to harvest enough ballots in swing states to win the ballot tally contest.

Do you know who is heading up the DNC? Do you know what she used to do?

I used to also think like you guys. Who is the best person to beat Trump, probably Gavin. But that's not how it works. You will see soon.....the entire media will begin to shift towards her and after a few weeks everyone who said 0% HRC will change their tune.

i could see this as well. if they do replace him she seems to be the obvious option. everyone will say gavin newsome but i am not so sure. it is not in his best interest to run for president right now. this late in the game i could see them going with HRC again.

HRC made an example out of Tulsi. No dem will challenge her going forward. Seth Rich was also another lesson for any dem staffers feeling patriotic. Gavin will continue to do what he is told, so will Kamala. Michelle has no interest this cycle. It's HRC, take it to the bank.

I think it will be Newsom, but HRC has several advantages for her over Trump this go around

- the dem vote and counting machines have ramped up tons compared to 2016
- criticisms are OLD news
- the media machine isn't underestimating trump this go round
- it was her turn and it was stolen from her narrative
- will be portrayed as far less crazy - a serious voice for serious times
- doesn't play golf

she did lose in 2016...but barely

This - they'll kick a black woman out of the bus onto to the curb faster than you can say Rosa Parks and then the media will blame racist republicans for her undoing.

well said. Ultimately, those that vote dem don't give a sh** who's name is on the ballot and they certainly don't care about integrity and they have no shame.

It will be easy:

"Kamala, do you want to be the first woman president? We will make that happen for you but you need to commit to not running for the next term. Otherwise, we sweep you into the dustbin of history."

Dumping Kamala is such a tough strategy. She holds the most successful resume in their party. She's an idiot, but she is the VP and a former senator. Add to it a minority woman.

To replace her with that party base with a white man or even an unlikable white woman would crazy. I just don't see how they survive the optics from their own woke mob.

Finally, the RFK jr voters will only grow more from something like this. 2-3% is enough to throw the whole thing for them.

Yes, exactly, that's what I'm talking about. They have zero ability to argue within their own ranks for why Kamala isn't getting the nod for presidential candidate. They can't claim she's not ready to be President, because then why the hell would you have her as running mate for a President who statistically has a 12% chance of dying every year? She's a woman, she's a minority and the two most likely replacements are a white woman and a white dude.

They're screwed.

And then she locked up a bunch of black guys for weed possession after bragging about getting high and then being "elected" by bunch of white supremacists.

What some of you fail to realize is, roughly half of the voters in this country are so brainwashed and dependent on handouts that they will vote for the D no matter what name is beside it.

One of the things that Mitt Romney said that I agree with is that he "can't care about the 47%". The 47% will vote for whomever has a "D" after their name, BUT its the independents who won't just march along to the beat of the DNC. They're the ones we have to win.
