Our political, corporate and media "leadership" on both sides has brought us to this point IMO.

Politics infects everything. Everything becomes a wedge issue. Things that aren't political become political.

The combined population of this country, the American society, is suffering from a mass group mental disorder.

That dude shouldn't judge the rest of the USA by a post-Covid Southern California.

I do agree with one point which is that the racial emphasis on everything in the USA is ridiculous.

I lived 12 years in Sydney, Australia where everyone was just Australian. Not to say that there wasn't racism but people's identity didn't revolve around their skin color or country/continent of heritage.

Identity politics is deep in this country mostly due to Obama and his administration. All part of the plan.

No doubt . The destruction caused by the Marxist plan is immeasurable and depends on divide and conquer . Alinsky's rules in full effect and stupid people eating it up like candy.

There is no country on earth as diverse as this one. Implementing Marxism in a country like ours has never been done. Add to that the blatant racism against whites now and it's gonna get ugly imo.

America is beyond helpless, lets light the match and watch this country burn to the ground.

A couple things. American leadership the last couple decades has been a disaster. We went from Madison, Franklin, Jefferson to these clowns running the country. Everything starts at the top and the top stinks.

Then we have too many options so people are never satisfied because the next thing is just an incremental step away. It's makes life complicated.

Too much individualism and not enough what's best for your community or country.

Politics. Makes people outraged about too many stupid things that don't matter.

The country and people need their mojo back. The America is awesome f yeah attitude

We need the American version of Lee Kuan Yew. The greatest political leader ever.

I do not think we have too much individualism but rather too much collectivism. The founders did not expect to have everyone's basic needs guaranteed through a government safety net funded by other American's taxes.

Too many people who vote today were never intended to be allowed to vote by the framers of this country. Senators were to be elected by congressional representatives and were intended to be the august body of Congress. Look at some of the representatives and senators we have in Congress today. Sure, corruption has always been there but now we have abject stupidity not only in the House but in the Senate as well. The framers knew what they were doing, tried to save us from ourselves, and even warned us and yet we are still descending into the tyranny of the masses.

Yeah, that guy is full of **it. He needs to go back to Mexico.

It kind of falls apart for me when you're trying to extoll the virtues of Mexico.

It's mostly the extreme 5% on both sides along with politicians and media that have the otherwise normal 90% in the middle who could all get along at each others throats.

It doesn't mean he doesn't make some reasonable points tho. I don't think he was extolling the virtues of the Mexican government … just where many Mexicans are culturally relative to Orange County, California .

I mean...Mexico is not without their issues, to say the least. I do get that the US now, is different than the US 10 years ago, but the comments from the Mexican girl...acting like Mexico is so much kinder/nicer is pretty ridiculous.

And our obsession with identity politics is holding us back as a country.
