Donald Trump:

This is how you do it. Tell them they need to take a stake montarily. They need to sue for peace, and then arm them in case negotiations fail. It's telling Ukraine to take care of their own mess, and telling Russia/Putin FAFO (hands off).

So you're complaining about arming Ukraine by saying we should arm Ukraine?

It's pretty crazy that virtually no western media outlet is talking about the provocation of this war. It's pretty alarming that when anyone just mentions anything about prior promises broken, they are considered a Putin sympathizer.

The Biden admin sent Boris over to force Zelensky not to take Putin's deal. Then Kamal went over and proclaimed that Ukraine should join NATO. The deal was about not joining NATO and giving up the Russian speaking Donbas region. That deal was better than what Ukraine will get now. Trump wanted Zelenskyy to accept that deal and avoid war. That is why it is totally legitimate to make the claim this war wouldn't have happend is Trump was POTUS. That doesn't mean you like Trump, it means you know what is actually going on.....unlike 98% of the population.

So if Mexico(in some mythical world was stronger militarily) wanted to invade Texas and England told the USā€¦.hey man, just give up that region of the US to "solve" your problem then the US should do it?

Makes a whole hell of a lot of senseā€¦.

In this hypothetical did England provoke Mexico and provide the US all of its defense funding?

I think the hypothesizer's foreign policy is frozen in 1980 so you can just ignore him.

Well considering Mexico/Cartels are winning the border war without firing a shot seems like a spurious argument.
Among the latter, under pretence of governing they have divided their nations into two classes, wolves and sheep.ā€
