I mostly agree with Willie D. If someone tries to rob you and threatens your wife, you are not a snitch. If you and your friends try to commit a crime and you flip on your friends to get a better sentence you are a snitch (or rat in white people speak). Also, I loved the Geto Boys as a kid. I'm not sure my white suburban butt was their target audience.

Youtube videos from multiple different prominent creators with millions of views are saying a majority in the community are calling him a snitch which I find ridiculous. He is trying to protect his family from violent crime. Also far left Democrat marxists on multiple different subreddits on Reddit are calling him a snitch.
