Yet he is currently is a coanchor with Robin Roberts and Michael Strahan on Good Morning America, and host of This Week, ABC's Sunday morning current events news program.

I don't watch either of those, but he is still an active person in our media.

That's part of it, for sure. The other part is that they (MSM) think their non-stop coverage of Trump when he was running the first time helped Trump get the nomination because by comparison, they aired Trump infinitely more than any of the other candidates. And, of course, when you're running for something, media exposure is what every politician tries to get.

Someone back then did a calculation and found that Trump got way more coverage than all the other candidates combined.

Regardless, today, everyone already knows about both candidates, and no amount of Trump being on MSM is going to change that.

Stephanopolous is a f'king idiot to say this, full stop. If someone interviews Trump on any of the major media outlets, there's no reason not to show it.

And as a corollary to this, in 2016, even if someone like Cruz was on, they would only ask him about the latest thing Trump said, instead of allowing him to speak as to his policy positions.
