I don't know if they are conservative these days, but this is the best bank commercial I've ever seen.

Conservative or not...point of advice that someone offered over on the business board.

If a bank is offering high yields CD's, might look elsewhere or at least check their books. They probably made some stink bets on markets and need liquidity...via deposits...like yesterday. They might be in trouble.

We've been happy with Amegy. If you got credit cards as well be prepared for lots of calls to verify purchases . Their ant-fraud group is dead serious about trying to stop fraud. It's a little bit inconvenient sometimes but I like that they watch it like a hawk.
