Black people disproportionately believe Trump's prosecution is political because they have a baseline bias as a demographic against law enforcement and the judicial system. Whether that helps Trump on Election Day remains to be seen but it's clear black Americans have an outsized skepticism about this trial compared to other groups especially relative to their political leanings.

I think it's important to realize that it required a unanimous decision by a jury of 12 people. Even in New York there's a very good chance multiple Republicans were on the jury. Truly partisan jury members were certainly weeded out by the prosecution in jury selection. The evidence was pretty damning if you actually look into it. And again I want to emphasize this is the least bad crime that Trump has been indicted by 4 seperate grand juries. I desperately wanted Republicans to nominated Haley or even Desantis. I just want Republicans to walk away from the abyss. In a Democracy, we have to be able to accept both parties in power. It needs to be a political game, but Donald Trump has been escalating everything to a religious/cult-like level since the beginning... And I think that's why people have lost trust and decancy. That's why I am anti- Trump not anti-Republican. And that's why I'm sad that we're here.

These charges were made up BS. That is only 1 of the many reasons these charges will be reversed and never tried again.

This Judge was blatant in his hatred and bias against Trump. This was an absolute mischaracterization of justice in every way. This was a sham trial. And I am confident it will be shown as much to anyone that wants to even remotely see the truth. Everything about this trial is a joke.

Nobody with any semblance of integrity and/or remotely normal to above normal intelligence can see what a political stunt this trial is/was.

I can't stand Trump, but this is a sad day for this country. And I am an attorney. A criminal trial attorney and a former Judge actually.

I don't think the Supreme Court will take immediate action, and I really am not sure if they could…. That is not my expertise. But I think they should. This judge and the DA should be disbarred for their actions. They have no regard for the actual law. They have shown that throughout. It's an embarrassment to the legal field that they are in their positions.

Trump is and will be the rightful president
