This needs to happen everywhere, even Texas. Abbott usurped power not bestowed by our constitution and damaged our economy causing some businesses to close, etc.

And some people want his tyrannical ass as Veep. No thanks!

Government still won - harassed people, jacked up their legal bills, shamed them - at the end of the day the government got their hunk of meat and doesn't give a **** about this outcome in the end. Actually, they probably promoted this to resolve so it goes away quietly in the night until they can do it again next time.

The punishment is the legal system - not the outcome of it.

That's awesome! I hope conservatives remember what the left did to us during covid and never let anything like that happen again.

Covid exposed a lot of peoples' true natures.. A lot of the attention is focused (rightfully) on the politicians and bureaucrats who abused their power to impose their will on us.

But that would have never been possible if it hadn't been for the "little people," our coworkers and neighbors who tyrannized us for over 2 yrs. From the anonymous contact tracing snitches to mask enforcement that would have impressed the Nazis, all done with a smug sense of moral superiority.

And now that the world has moved on, they act as if nothing happened, or that they were right all along.

It's these people we need to watch and remember. Even if they genuinely believe it themselves, it was always about their little slice of state sanctioned power, not Covid. They will happily do it again.
