I attended a HS graduation at my HS last night. First time I've done that since I graduated. The demographic changes were eye opening.

Texas will be hard blue within a decade.

Take a look at Mexico and the Mexican government. That's your future. Liberty is history.

Biden's registering illegals by the millions. We are going to get squeezed both ways. Just think, the Dems squealed when Tucker coined Great Replacement. We all knew it was true.

There are people on this forum who mock that suggestion because "People have been saying that for many years but it hasn't happened yet!" They argue that Hispanics are inherently conservative and they usually finish with saying something like "One of the most conservative people I know is Hispanic!"

They're in total denial. Sure, I know several conservative Hispanic people too and I'm fond of Hispanic people on a personal level. I grew up in Laredo and went to school there as one of the only white kids in class. But the hard data shows that for every one of them on our side two will vote left.

They're culturally conservative, but they are general politically very socialist, and almost all central and South America governments prove it, along with the voting patterns here. I mean, Jewish people are generally culturally conservative too, and they're disproportionately successful and entrepreneurial but look how they vote. Politics trumps all. Heck, I'm in northeast Texas and there are whole communities around here now where they only speak Spanish. Whites officially became a minority last year in Texas. It won't be much longer.

That's possible, but there's another way. As conservatives, we have to lead, educate and persuade. Most hispanics are conservative at their core. Faith, family, hard work, even abortion. The more successful and affluent they become, the more they begin to realize that conservatism is the only real and long term solution. The harder you work for what's yours, and the longer it takes you to get 'surplus' economic ability, the more you want to hold onto it/not waste it.

If you looked at the hispanic population in the 60's, the ones who'd vote republican/conservative were practically non existant. Not so today. This can happen faster if we do it correctly.

Here's how Texans voted in the 2020 election by age, race and more, according to AP's VoteCast

Race

According to survey data, Trump was more popular amongst white voters, 65% of white voters supported Trump while 35% of white voters supported Biden.

Biden connected with Black and Latino voters, survey data indicates that 89% of Black voters and 67% of Latino voters supported the Democratic nominee.

Do you think those same voters will continue to vote for Biden in 2024? With gas over $3.25 gallon, eggs 3 times what they used to cost, layoffs right and left, and interest rates keeping people from being able to buy a home?

I say no. I also think we need to do a better job of getting the word out about who's responsible for this mess.

Well, I guess we'll see soon enough. This isn't about one election or one candidate though, it's a consistent dependable pattern. I fully expect them to vote Democrat 2-1 again this year. Maybe since Biden is so bad they'll vote 65% Dem instead of 67%. Yippee.

I mean, there's no point in thinking about this too hard, it's transparently obvious the Dems want as many of them here as possible and why. If anyone seriously thought they were going to generally end up voting Republican the Dems would be the biggest border hawks around. The border would look like the Maginot Line.

The RNC will have to actually do something effective to assist here. Using the MSM is pointless. They will have to get involved with social media, ballot harvesting, and maintaining oversight of election processes in swing states. None of those things were addressed under the last leader. Maybe Lara is correcting for that. Don't know.

Of course, many Hispanics are sick of Biden and will vote Trump. Unfortunately, the majority of illegals flooding into the country will vote democrat. The inflation, debt, interest rates and lower wages will also push a majority of Gen Z to vote for redistribution of wealth. Americans over 50 are being made the villain by the educators and politicians. The more the democrats destroy the economy and quality of life the more they will gain control. I fully expect my parent's estate to be confiscated at 50-75% by the criminals in Washington. They will have secret carve outs for themselves and only themselves to pass their wealth. Only a few things can prevent the inevitable...and they will be miserable to endure. Gift your kids now, go have fun and spend your money. What's left over after death will be stolen.

Immigrants as a whole, whether legal or illegal, are indeed a relative drain on our resources, but not because they come here in expectation of getting handouts. The majority of them want to work and do, including paying taxes though some illegals are paid a pittance under the table. The disconnect is that most of them are relatively poorly educated so end up with the low paying jobs that don't appeal to Americans. The result is they end up still under the poverty level. Like American citizens under the poverty level, any American born kids have citizenship and are eligible for welfare.

Point is, there are certainly negatives to the increased numbers of immigrants, but most are willing workers instead of the lazy, hands out leeches that they're often portrayed as.

Respectfully disagree with this. Most of these folks are coming here for work. The Dems are shoving the 'free stuff' down their throats, but they're not stupid. The gift cards they get and the places they are put up are just temporary, and they know that they're going to have to work top put food on the table. They may be at the poverty level for a time, but poverty here is far better off for families than Central American and African/Asian poverty.

Went to my oldest granddaughter's high school graduation two years ago. I graduated from the same high school. I commented on the way there that she would be the only one shown in the program with four names (no hyphen, my daughter named her after ancestors and got carried away). Boy was I wrong. Must have been 30 or so hispanics, such as Juan Pablo Gonzales Garcia. I knew they used double surnames a lot but had no idea we had that many. In my class, I don't recall that we had any hispanics, maybe a couple that I've forgotten about. Her class was like 49%. The invasion happened and continues to happen. I remember when the Border Patrol actually patrolled the border and did their job.

Actually, you are already seeing Hispanics getting lumped into the white category in some cases. I've seen it laid out that way in some articles and statistics that some groups report on.

It helps promote the blacks as our preferred minority narrative.
