Go read the history on the couple that basically started Snopes out of their apartment. They are Clinton connected big time donors that slanted everything to cover for Bill and Hillary's BS and it grew from there with the heavy liberal slant. Google kept them as the top hit on their platform whenever you tried to factcheck anything and they have no real crystal ball to truth they were nothing more than a cover for the lying left.

Yeah they started researching urban legends and folklore. Guy wrote a highly successful book that was a best seller. In the era of chain emails with wild stories like the abandoned wife selling her husband's Porche for $50, they provided eminent respectability as a source.

Then they turned to politics and religion. Any story glorifying God was downplayed. Any story benefiting Republicans was belittled. Any story benefiting Democrats was elevated.

There are multiple versions of how that all went depending on who you ask. Of course O'keefe's lawyer is going to say, "We tried to give it back!" So they paid $20k each to two individuals for access to it to... Just give it back? That's... unbelievable. Of course her lawyer is not going to confirm its authenticity without seeing it in person, and a refusal to confirm is also not a denial or a denial of ownership. According to Ashley Biden's camp, PV also called her personal cell and said they had it, and she said she was going to send someone to get it.

And I never said PV published it. I said they called to try verify authenticity. Regardless of what PV did or did not do, it was shopped around before they were ever involved. The finder, Aimee Harris, did not try to return it, she tried to sell it. Thus, stolen.

I wonder if KeithDB would try to debunk Snopes, you know, his favorite source of truth.
