Uhhh...

When a guy goes to a drug bust that is a sting would you say he was committing a crime? I mean he wasn't actually attempting to buy drugs if they weren't really selling drugs.

Years ago, my wife's church group invited a probation officer that dealt with pedophiles to talk about pedophiles and how to protect youir children. He state that of the 15 years that he had dealt with them, only one was "cured" and that he had died.

These individuals cannot be cured and will continue to destroy children's lives.

There is always a string of text or emails or other communications that prove he knew he was meeting an underage girl and what he wanted to do to her or visa versa.

The crime, in Texas, is for soliciting. Once he knows the "girls" age and continues to plan the hook up, then the fore play talk as to what he wants to do to her, which is usually VERY graphic, is just icing on the cake for punishment purposes. Juries are revolted by that language.

Hard to tell on my lil screen was he also trying to bite the cops arm? Back in my day that alone was justified use of deadly force.
