Some Republican House Freedom Caucus members who oppose Speaker Mike Johnson have formed a team that takes shifts monitoring the chamber floor to prevent party leaders from making rule changes that benefit the party establishment over their caucus. They call themselves the Floor Action Response Team (FART). Their silent but deadly approach to parliamentary procedure is raising a big stink in the House, after Marjorie Taylor Greene filed a motion to oust the Speaker in response to a $1.2 trillion government funding bill.
Personally, I think that fighting an intra-party civil war, as FART is doing, is Wrong Every Time, especially after how long it took to replace Kevin McCarthy.
