They do this in Lib cities on purpose...because they know that nobody will do anything. I don't see crap like this happening in Red cities/states. Good ol' boys would have a field day with idiots like this.
When we were teens, we used to gather up horse apples and load up in the back of a pickup. We'd drive down old country roads and pelt road signs. Given the opportunity to unload on Lib hipster protestors, we'd have had a convoy of trucks full of horse apples to bombard them. Again, crap like this doesn't happen in East Arkansas, fortunately/unfortunately.

I'm all for a law that allows me to drive without consequence. In the case of the OP, that means driving right over them if they will not move.
In the case of the truckers, that would allow you to confront one or more of them if they are blocking your path. Good luck!
