Our HS has classes in cosmetology, welding, auto mechanics, business and econ, floral, personal finance, livestock and farming, etc. I just assumed most big high schools did the same.Cinco Ranch Aggie said:We've had them here in Katy ISD for years.TXAG 05 said:

It's literally in the New York Post. A story that happened in Houston is in a New York paper. Is that not the very definition of National?DrEvazanPhD said:
If true…hang em high.
But I'm guessing this won't make the national news. Can't quite put my finger on why…

We had them in our HS back in the 80s. It was part of the vocational ed program, just like auto mechanics and wood shop/carpentry.TXAG 05 said:

Is it on cnn? New York Times? Anywhere? Bueller?
Nope. A "conservative" paper.
And why is it racist?
Because it's a hyper-local story and the only reason any national news outlet would carry it is because they know it's click-baity.
Some people will click because it's lascivious and some will click to get that endorphin rush of their biases being confirmed. Either way, it's ad revenue.
What the hell is wrong with you?
I'm class of '06 and they had them when I was in high school.TXAG 05 said:

My first guess is……a lot!
