Unless White House staffers have the ability to proclaim national holidays, it turns out the transgender day of visibility was bogus.

They need all these days and weeks and months so woke teachers and school administrators constantly have an excuse to derail the normal academic instruction and cover the DEI awareness event or events taking place on a near continuous basis if they choose, or at least flavor the instruction with propaganda about whatever awareness events are going on at the time.
