Yeah, only a decade ago the left was about tolerance and equality under the law. They are now very intolerant (racist) and want special treatment under the law for portions of their base. It's gotten so bad that "women's groups" are fighting for the right to allow men in women's bathrooms and athletic contests. For middle aged, moderate Dems it's become too much.

They are pro Scottish independence, though outside of that, they would be even further left than today's Democrats. They took over the ScotRail rail franchise effectively nationalising it. It took a public outcry to change a policy to remove a transgender rapist from a female prison.

I don't know how close their elections were of if they too were stolen, but the many of every day people I always encountered there, just like me and other Republicans here, don't live this way or support this crap.

Again, just like here you'll find more of this from the big cities, but in the country, not as much.

America is in a big ****hole right now too, yet so many of us don't want it. Same for Scotland.
