Monkeys were fed by tourists before Covid, allowed to breed like rabbits and cities accepted it since it brought tourism and money in.
During Covid they started to turn more aggressive since the free buffet machine was turned off.

Lay out a giant metal / mesh net where they hang out. Put sugary treats in the middle and plug said mesh into the electrical socket when they come to eat

lol, that is sick! I'd be all for video hunting monkeys with darts in your yard being a nuisance. Setting out food in the wild and shooting while they eat is sick, no sport there. Gross sick if they eating monkeys, that is like mini cannibalism!

That video was baboons, no way in hell would you want to be in the open with them on a stalk hunt or sitting in an open blind. They will tear you up. As for hunting over food, same thing is done here for sport hunting for deer and pigs, why not for monkeys? As for eating, its a 3rd world location and that is meat. I doubt they would pass it up.

Deer and pigs do not eat with their hands. Got no qualms shooting baboons with little darts, just qualms about shooting fellow primates eating a buffet you set out. Also got qualms about sorta cannibalism aspect of eating primates. Maybe your views would be more welcomed on the Haiti forum.
