I'm no clairvoyant, but I'm pretty sure it has more to do with her opposition to funding Israel's war and the recent spat with Rabbi Shmuley.

She went off the deep end. I'm more surprised it didn't happen sooner.

I'm pretty sure it's been a long time coming. She has repeatedly shown herself to have poor judgment, a lack of substance, nothing more than a controversialist for the sake of making money.

On top of that larger problem, her coziness with anti-semetism (at least since Kayne) has undoubtedly strained her relationship with Shapiro, if not the other key members of the organization. It was only a matter of time.

I'm glad she's gone. She always made me cringe when she'd speak during DW backstage events.

Blaming this on "Christ is king" is a BS excuse. Walsh and Knowles are consistent in talking about their Christian faith. Even Shapiro consistently advocates for the need of Americans to return to the fundamental social building block of the church.

And let's be honest- Owens saying "Christ is king" is not a statement of her faith. She's been using it as a rhetorical device to take a dig at Shapiro and to rally the Nick Fuentes crowd to her side of the dispute.

ETA- Klavan nailed it. The literal words are absolutely true. But the intent and context in which they are being used is evil, akin to satan quoting scripture back to Jesus. She's taking the Lord's name in vain.

The fact that she isnt a zionist Christian means her "Christ is King" is significantly different than Walsh or the average evangelical protestant in America.

The actual christian position rejects talmudic judiasm, for it is a path to Hell and has been an enemy of true faith since ...well King Solomon died. The bulk of the OT and much of the NT is at odds with Shapiro's theology--and by extension their politics.

She has seemed nutty as squirrel **** for the last year or so.

Without the billionaire backing the DW has, I kind of doubt it.

Most American Jews secretly despise Christians. I am convinced it's part of the reason they vote so overwhelmingly democrat. Part fear, part spite. No way they are that stupid, so it has to be emotionally driven.

Well the rabbi she interviewed recently went into hysterics because she said that Israeli children and Palestinian children being killed in the war was a tragedy. This was after she completely condemned Hamas. But apparently caring about the wrong children is antisemitic.
