Menendez is saying if he is not running in the NJ primary nut maybe run as an independent if he is exonerated this summer. This would split the Democrats vote.

Will pick up one in Maryland with Larry Hogan. Will pick up another with W. Virginia. Will pick up another with Montana.

Possibly another with Ohio.

Those are off the top of my head.

Thanks. Been a long day and I was cussing Joe Biden so Delaware was on the tip of my tongue.

If you hate Romney, wait until Hogan shows up.

Better a 50% GOP vote than a 100% Dem vote.

It is either an ultra-RINO like Hogan or an outright commie. Maryland is never going to elect even a moderate much less a Ted Cruz or Mike Lee.

The only thing he'd be good for is voting for a Republican for majority leader.

If Romney was from Maryland, Delaware, Massachusetts, or some other far left state, he'd probably be tolerated a little bit more. Since he is from Utah, a conservative state, they need to do better.
"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill

Hogan is super popular there. This is what would have happened if Sununu had run in New Hampshire last cycle. If a blue state is going to give you a GOP senator, even a moderate one, you take that all day.

Menendez is just trying to blackmail the leftist DOJ into making an acceptable deal that keeps him out of prison. He has no intention of running as an independent.

This is him threatening to wear a suicide vest with Chick Schumer

I agree, but don't tell some of the posters here that. They still think Christine O'Donnell was the best candidate in Delaware. And Sharron Angle in Nevada.

I can't wait until all the angry posts about Hogan start.

I am fine with having a Hogan in Maryland. It's the Romney in Utah or Murkowski in Alaska that are frustrating. I'll take a Purple RINO in a Deep Blue State but in the Dark Reds we need true conservatives.

I think maybe the takeaway is that Utah and Alaska aren't as red as we think they are. Maybe more libertarian, than conservative. Alaska actually has some relatively liberal social legislation on their books. The fictitious portrayal of Sicily, Alaska may be closer to reality than we think.

Murkowski knew she was dead in the water which is why she threw every resource she had into ranked-choice voting in 2020.

Alaskans are mad as hell and voting this fall to repeal it.
