In a campaign ad paid for by Win it Back PAC, Houston Angel mom Alexis Nungaray described the murder of her 12-year-old daughter, Jocelyn, who was strangled to death by Venezuelan men after they illegally entered the country and were released by Border Patrol agents through Biden-Harris "catch and release" policies. Less than 30 days after they were released, Jocelyn "was found down there in the Bayou. She had no pants on. They bound her feet and they just left her like nothing, all because of that policy catch and release," Alexis said. "Colin Allred pushing that policy ultimately took my daughter's life. Colin Allred didn't kill my daughter, but his policies are why she's dead."

"For Colin Allred to say that Sen. Cruz and I advocating for stronger immigration laws is only for political gain is a slap in the face to me," she said. "I'm not doing this for anyone's gain, I'm doing this to solely advocate for my daughter. Jocelyn's voice was ripped away from her. It is now my duty as a mother to forever be her voice, and no one will ever take that away from me. Colin Allred has no right to tell me how to fight for my daughter's memory."

After Jocelyn was murdered on June 17, Alexis has been calling for action to end the policies that she and countless angel parents across the country say killed their loved ones. Her actions include testifying before Congress several times, meeting with state and local lawmakers and endorsing former President Donald Trump and Cruz, R-Houston, whom Allred is challenging for Senate.

Allred has consistently voted against border security bills, even ones that fellow Texas Democrats U.S. Reps. Henry Cuellar and Vicente Gonzalez, supported, The Center Square reported. High profile Democrats have endorsed Cruz, including the Democratic district attorney prosecuting the case against Jocelyn's alleged murderers.

ICE says a Venezuelan illegal alien who was caught & released at the TX border in October 2022 was charged months later in Fairfax County w/ malicious wounding, using a firearm in a felony, reckless handling of a firearm, and endangering a child.

ICE placed a detainer request on him, but Fairfax County ignored it and released him from custody.

Fairfax County police then arrested him again in June 2023 for using a firearm in commission of a felony.

ICE says they contacted the Fairfax County jail to place a detainer on him, but Fairfax County had already released him from custody - again.

He was then arrested two more times this year, in February and in May, for DUI and hit and run. After both arrests, ICE says they placed detainer requests on him, but Fairfax County ignored ICE both times, and released him from custody each time.

Deportation officers from ICE's DC office were finally able to find him and arrest him in Springfield, VA this month, and he remains in federal custody.

In this case, ICE says

Who are these sanctuary policies really protecting?

"Mosquera allegedly committed numerous firearms crimes, including one that apparently endangered a child. ICE Washington, D.C. will continue to prioritize the safety of our public by apprehending and removing egregious noncitizen offenders from our Washington, D.C. and Virginia communities."

So in a case like Fairfax County, who is responsible for the policy that is leading to the immediate release of a person arrested for multiple felonies with a firearm? Forget for a moment that the person is an illegal immigrant. How can any of the elected officials justify the release of a person who commits these types of felonies (or any type)?

I presume it is the city council. Or would it be county commissioners? How in the world are the citizens of that county not protesting and marching on their city/county offices right now?

Citizens should be lighting torches and marching now. I don't care how you feel about immigration and blah blah......they are releasing individuals committing felonies. With firearms. That should nullify any concern about deportation, sanctuary city etc etc.

In a just world it would, hell they wouldn't even be here. However, progs want to destroy the US and rebuild it the way they think it should be. This is all being done on purpose.

The most efficient way to solve the immigration issue is to figure out how to get migrants from socialist/communist ****holes to predominantly vote Republican/Conservative/Capitalist. AOC would be down there helping lay razor wire the next day.

Diaz, who illegally crossed the US border near Rio Grande, Texas in April 2014, was arrested by US Border Patrol agents and then released.

He later failed to appear for a hearing in immigration court.


Details about the circumstances of the alleged rape, including the relationship between Diaz and the victim, were unavailable.

The child was taken to a local hospital for medical evaluation.

Diaz was arrested on October 22 and arraigned the next day on charges of rape, attempted rape and endangering the welfare of a child, police said.
