Big difference in making a joke, and approving of it. My "not guilty" joke is in reference to several smoking hot teachers getting a slap on the wrist when ugly women and any man have the book thrown at them.

There is also a difference in a 16-17 year old and a 12 year old, both physically and mentally.

Regardless of age, it is still a crime and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

What a terrible, no-good woman. She has daughters the same age as the male victim. I feel sorry for this woman's family. They will have to change their names and move cross country. Their current friends woukd treat them horribly. So messed up all around.

I cannot even imagine this. I'm a mom of a 12 yo son and don't understand being attracted to the idiots that they are, let alone most are still very much children. Gross.

One thing not being discussed is how will this impact the 12 year old kid? This situation will damage his emotional and mental health, whether she is pregnant or not. He will likely develop serious sexual problems in terms of his development and I am sure he will become some sort of twisted person unless he gets tremendous amounts of therapy. I would imagine the teacher was a victim when she was a child/minor too. The cycle continues. Such an awful situation that will likely ruin multiple lives.

I went to a very small high school and there were very strong rumors of at least a couple of teachers with students. One was 22 and a brand new first year teacher with an 18 year old. The other was the front office receptionist with her daughter's boyfriend.

Don't assume this just started happening.
