there is a bit of apples/oranges involved in your analogy, because this statue addresses a political issue (abortion) rather than religion. The proponents of the statue clearly do not worship a goat headed RBG as a deity. But let's go past that.
I would have absolutely no problem with a 10 Commandments display, so long as the same institution allows the same amount of space to competing religious ideologies. You know, like the "church of Satan" statue that seems to give everyone on this forum such heartburn, which is allowed a display in order to provide cover for the displaying Judeo Christian religious iconography.
