Interestingly enough, we can all coalesce around the fact that a large portion of those who we call our "leaders" are morally corrupt idiots seeking an unearned and undeserved lucrative lifestyle for themselves and their families and that we should get rid of them.

The problem is that neither side agrees of the vision put out by the other side as to what the next step looks like.

Increasingly, separation is offered as a novel solution. What's ironic about it is that it's not novel at all and the Constitution offers separation as one of it's primary features.

What keeps us from pursuing the solution laid out 237 years as a framework is a mystery to me. Seems like breaking down the central authority to it's proper place and allowing choice and autonomy over our own lives is a pretty dang simple path forward for both sides.

I think the problem is that politics has gotten so hyper partisan; If you can tolerate going full ultra MAGA or Hardcore Socialist Liberal you can likely get attention and after that its just non stop grifting

Unless his mother is a party to his illegal activities, then there is no comparison beyond the fact she is his parent as Joe is to Hunter.

Agree, though it's always been this way on some level. A two party system will never be healthy. There's no value in being a moderate in that system.

Really the only change I've seen is in the right giving up on being moderates. The left has been drifting increasingly leftward for 50 years and doing pretty well. Once the right realized being a moderate wasn't going to cut it they went full heel.

Fair enough but if we are being honest, the vast majority of parents are in a great position to make judgmental comments about the parenting skills of both Biden and Boebert.
