Though I haven't listened to this one yet but he has a lot of good messages in his songs other than the Covid song, though I wish his style wasn't rap. He pushes back against the woke but also doesn't pull punches against the establishment on the right either.

Tom is more influential than most politician's, pundits, etc. You can choose not to listen to him, but younger people put a lot of value into what musicians have to say. Any person who is truly about freedom, small government, the truth, and the like -- they're good in my book.

You judge someone entirely based on their appearance, and not based on their thoughts, ideas, or content of their character. That is not a great way to win people over.

Until this thread, I had never heard of the guy. Know nothing about him, or his politics. More influential? Not buying that. I would bet if I asked the next 1,000 people I see about this guy, very few would have heard of him and doubt any of those who have heard of him have been influenced by him.

Have you ever watched those street interviews? The average person can't even tell you who the VP is, the three branches of government, etc. Every song Tom puts out, tops the charts.

I am ecstatic his style is rap. It is not something I listen to,but there is a definitely a segment of our society that does listen to rap and they need to hear this message as well.

I am happy to hear the message from Ted Cruz, Shapiro, or someone that I identify with, and I am happy others can hear the message from someone they identify with.

While I agree with the premise of your post, Tom is worth millions and millions, so I doubt he will be out trying to get an hourly job and having to worry about his tattoos. Jelly Roll the same.

He'll get under your skin. His lyrics, his beats. 4 years ago I had no idea who he was. Today, it's not uncommon for my to listen to one of his Playlists while I'm in the shower.

He's amazing.

The guy is great and America needs him right now, even though he is Canadian.

This is generally positive for America imo. It leads to questioning of what's really going on by younger people . If you don't recognize the problems it's hard to advocate for solving them. I think that's a real issue for many of us in the age 40-70 range today. Not a big enough % really understand the direction we are being lead in, who is doing it , and how.

If it feels like something tramples on your rights and freedoms and choices in life it probably does and it probably has been engineered to subtly do exactly that.
