It's terrible

Of all the ads, it was one of them.

It was as if he didn't already have 100% name recognition.

I liked it. The idea was to get people talking and not be overtly political. He's not going to win, it's all just setting money on fire, so might as well not make me sit through the same BS cookie cutter campaign ad.

Dang. I thought that was pretty good.

I was today years old when I heard a JFK Jr campaign ad!

Thats damn hilarious its the exact advertisement put photoshopped RFKjr face and "vote independent"

i think the hope was that it would hit a chord to a more nostalgic time when democrats weren't off the reservation loco. it was different but it made an impression which isn't bad amongst the plethora of commercials you watch during the super bowl. i think the hope is it would appeal to baby boomer democrats and independents who don't like either.

I don't really support him, nor his liberal slant, and I probably wont vote for him, but I thought the political add was cool. I respect them for getting it out on the largest stage. It had an Americana feel to it and I'm a sucker for that…

The level of effort some of you are putting in to pushing DeSantis supporters away from Trump is truly impressive, and I'm voting Trump assuming he is the nominee which barring something crazy he will be. It's must mind boggling. You guys throw around TDS and then say something completely random like this. Here's a hint, try and focus on things that we agree on and why DeSantis folks who don't like Trump should vote for him besides the Biden crap. Plenty of good reasons. I just don't get it.

Anyway, the ad was actually very effective imo to the right target audience. That audience is "I don't like Trump or Biden and just want to vote for someone that seems halfway normal and competent and doesn't embarrass me." I won't vote for him because underneath it he is still a liberal but RFK is an easy guy to like. The question will be if he pulls more from Biden or Trump, so far it looks like Biden which is a great thing. He can't win realistically. It was also effective because it was the only real political ad and it was positive and kind of fun, it reminded people he is an option and it was hard not to hear some of the old jingle and not smile a little honestly and I'm no Kennedy (any Kennedy) fan.

I thought it was good

It stood out from the rest of the bland commercials though. It was a bit jarring because of the throwback to the 60s, and because it was so out of place it got people to pay attention. Everyone in my house basically said "What is this?" and watched the whole thing. As a political junkie, I appreciated the ad for the nostalgia. For the teens in my house it was so bizarre it got them to ask questions.

So I'd say it was somewhat effective.

I thought it was ok. Odd to spend that money there, but whatever. Hopefully some squishy "Swifty" voters decide to vote for him. Maybe that was the target demo, or just females who were watching the Super Bowl, I dunno. Democrats always vote on emotions so perhaps nostalgia made sense in some way.

Immediatly the Lefties at where I was watching were saying how looney he was and he would not win. Called him the Independent Trump. It pissed the far left Dems off but Moderate Dems, Repubs, and Independents took note.

What happened? Did it draw the ire of some of his family? I think he's become a bit of a black sheep the last few months.

I was taken aback by the 1960 commercial. At first, I thought maybe it was promoting an upcoming movie or TV show about JFK. Until I saw that it was RFK Jr.

I liked it.

ETA: And if it has indeed pissed off some Dems and Leftists, well that's just frosting on the cake then!
