And why do you think so? Certainly voting spreads can tell us a ton but personal experiences can inform this too.

Right now I'm between Oklahoma and Wyoming.
CNN is an enemy of the state and should be treated as such.

Based on the 2020 presidential election:

1. Wyoming (69.94%)
2. West Virginia (68.62%)
3. Oklahoma (65.37%)
4. North Dakota (65.12%)
5. Idaho (63.84%)

I would go with Wyoming as well, but have read about the California infestation growing there too. I guess a plausible case could be made for Mississippi or maybe a Dakota. Of the states 'that matter' (or just larger states) probably Florida is at this time the most solidly red, and then Texas.

Well, Mississippi has the highest Black population (38%) of any state. (DC and VI have higher percentages, but aren't states.) That counteracts their deeply-red White population.

States without major metro areas gonna be the most red. Major metros are all blue and have become a cancer upon this country.

Depends on how you look it it based on the question wording.

A. You could say California since it had the most total red votes.

B. Or Texas given it had a slight red majority while being a large and influential state with its 38 EV's

C. Or the largest Red majority as mentioned.

The metric that matters is B. And hey its Texas. Screw the rest.

The most Republican counties in the US are usually in Texas.

Ochiltree County (where Perryton is located) has been number 1 for a while. I think they are generally about 93% to 96% Republican.

Those are also the states with highest GDP... so not sure how they're a drain; unless you mean culturally not WASP

The top four are Cali, Texas, New York, and Florida. Two lib and two conservative.

Cali and New York are losing people and businesses in droves. Won't be long before it's flipped on its head.

Cali benefits from SV. Outside that, no one in their right mind would incorporate or set up shop there now.

I live in boise. More blue than i expected, but this is a very red state. On an aside, I've decided to take a class at boise state because I'm bored (unfortunate negative side effect to being wildly successful too young) and wow, talk about indoctrination center. Posters all over lecture halls criticizing far right causes and claims or begging for attention because educators are being vilified, declaring pronouns on the first day of class, etc. Luckily only one kid in the class with a mask and only one they/them. Interesting class, but talk about eye opening, so much has changed since undergrad in 04. I knew academia was an indoctrination center, but very disappointed to see it here in boise.

Good luck. We're getting the conservative California imports (including myself) to counteract the ignorant youth in boise. This state won't fall anytime soon. Unfortunately we're small potatoes to matter.

And well armed on a majority of persons (myself included).

Yet Fla has become more red in recent years. Yes, major metros are blue but not long ago they were purple with blue inner-cites and red burbs.

Lots of urban dwellers are slow but even they, after some car-jackings, shootings, muggings, protesters shutting down traffic, high taxes, unaffordable real estate will FINALLY learn that blue governance crap dont work. Lots of light blue hoods are already shifting.

Dont be so smug in your belief that major metros will stay blue. That is a recent thing and is already showing signs of reversing. Even dumb people can learn

This past September was my first trip to Idaho. Week long elk hunt with an outfitter. These were some of the nicest, simplest, hardworking people I'd ever met. Both at the camp and in the tiny town of Elk River. It was the first time I'd ever heard of Christian Anarchism though and that was very…different. I'm not saying bad…I'm saying different.

Maybe so, but to say that urban centers are a drain on the country is not factual in any sense when that's where most production of GDP happens

As the number of red targets dwindles the remaining ones glow brighter and brighter. You're standing out like a sore thumb.

this is also in part because they're the most populous states. the top 10 states in per capita gdp are:

1. New York
2. Massachusetts
3. Washington
4. California
5. North Dakota
6. Connecticut
7. Alaska
8. Nebraska
9. Delaware
10. Colorado

if you count D.C. it would be number 1. urban and suburban blue counties might provide most of the degeneracy conservatives complain about, but they also provide the overwhelming majority of our gdp.

How do you even quantify that? If an oil & gas company is hq'd in Houston but the actual operations occur elsewhere who gets the credit for that for example? The HQ have an impact but they are not by any means solely responsible .

Teton county (Jackson) is very blue, primarily due to the influx of non-native Wyo folks. The billionaires are pushing out normal people. Jackson is probably our equivalent to Austin.

The rest of the state is mostly folks who are self-sufficient and do not want much government in their lives.
