I can't stand when they pull the "we're a nation of immigrants" BS. Our great European ancestors conquered this land with blood, sweat, and tears and built it into the powerhouse it is today. Hearing "we're a nation of immigrants" sounds like everything they did to build this nation was strictly so illegal immigrants from around the globe can come here and mooch off the fruits of their hard work. Even the founding fathers were against open borders.

They think the US will collapse without the immigrant here to mow their lawn, clean their pool, clean their house, cook their food, and wipe their lazy asses for cheap. It's funny back in the 70's and 80's there was way way less illegals here, and the US didn't collapse. The young kids everywhere mowed lawns, hauled hay, helped out with farm/ ranch work. White and Black men worked in the oilfields, built houses, etc...But now, we got to have this abundance of cheap labor around that becomes a drain on society. It's not cheap anymore when our taxes keep going up to pay for all the social services to process these people, and pay for there healthcare and rehoming them.

The immigration system has been built piecemeal over decades, coupled with different administrations who more or less re-define it every few years through regulation and internal policy changes. Perhaps bipartisan legislation should be signed to enact long term solutions.

There is definitely a border crisis and democrats are way too soft on illegal immigration.

Republicans on the other hand use this topic like my wife does when she brings up that one thing over and over whenever she is in a bad mood.

Charge a 50% tax on all remittances by any illegal. Shut off all welfare to illegals. Commit a crime - you get deported. Get draconian and make them self deport. If you want to be here come the LEGAL way. If you came the legal way you get to stay. That would at a minimum deport every single person Biden has let in. It's an official account approaching 10M but it's probably double than that.

Migration is different than breaking our laws and subverting our systems.

They get counted on the census, and thus Cali gets many wrongful electoral college votes.

They have no insurance yet get free medical care out our ER's and the cost is shared by those of us who pay.

They are destroying our country, and our rule of law. They are criminal aliens, and must go back.

A country with no border cannot stand.

This would work better than any wall. Make it impossible financially for them to live here; unless, they came by legal means. Don't give them drivers license, or any type of government support. It's a pipedream though that will never happen...Too many bleeding hearts..

More agents? Maybe so. Most of the immigrants can simply walk to a checkpoint and apply for asylum. It might stop most of the drugs if we checked more vehicles. The 3 thousand mile wall? We have already seen it defeated by a $100 dollar recip saw.
