republicans have been forecasting biden's imminent ouster and replacement since 2020 at least, and it hasn't materialized. it's time to accept he's gonna be the dem candidate. there are few good reasons to replace him at this point.

Biden has stated that the only reason he's running again is because Trump is back in the game.

IOW, he's running under the assumption that since he's beaten* Trump before he's the best known quantity they have to beat him again. This entire thesis was the primary one of Democrats early on this campaign.

However, that was before the last several months after Biden's approval ratings have cratered and Dem voters have started to more publicly call for a different candidate.

I'm 50/50 right now on whether I think they'll replace him. If they do they will/should do it after the convention so the DNC can just pick whoever they want rather than worrying about voter sentiment.

I'm hoping they don't replace him between the convention/election because I think it would be a smart move... I'd much rather run against Biden.

Michelle or Newsome would seem to be the most likely replacements... but who knows.

Yep. I'll admit I was one of them. I couldn't believe he got the nomination in '20 after the Iowa and NH debacles. But the fix was in from SC on and it's clear that Dems aren't remotely hesitant to vote for a diaper wearing, dementia suffering, corrupt pedophile. Actually, the fact that he is so compromised mentally, physically and morally makes him the perfect Dem POTUS. He is merely a marionette for Obamites that are actually running things.

Fear and hatred of Trump is not the same thing as enthusiasm for Biden. To simplify it in an exaggerated way to make my point if 45% were passionate Trump supporters and 55% had nothing but fear and hatred of the man that all of mainstream news, social media, pop culture, etc. had told them was Hitler 2.0 all day every day for 4 years then you'd see the exact results we saw in 2020. Nobody caring about Biden, big rallies for Trump, and the majority voting him out on election day.

Let me try it another way, do you think all the Aggies here who were foaming at the mouth for Washington to beat Texas actually like Washington? Do you think Aggies would go to a Husky rally for that? No, there would be no interest at all. It wasn't about Washington winning, it was about Texas losing. Give the conspiracy theories a rest. There is NO way Kamala Harris or Gavin Newsome would simply stand aside and let Moochelle Obama glide into that seat. They're both too ambitious, and neither is tied to BHO for their future success (or attempted success).
