To be fair NH is pretty liberal, it's harder for an actual conservative when they have two RINOs to pick from as well.

Desantis is the true No. 2 because his voters are Trump voters and as long as Trump is in they will vote Trump but if Trump is out for some reason Desantis goes to No. 1 overnight.

That may be. But if RDS can't crack 10% in a three way race his brand and perception as a viable candidate is gone.


If Nikki ends up with 30% the media will talk about a 2 way race....and truthfully it is. RDS doesn't have a path with DJT still alive.

You know I am right about this race. It is OVER

I have a doctor friend who was in the Army who had to go on patrol in Iraq with a regular patrol unit. I asked him why. He was told that it was the only way that doctors could have credibility with the grunts. I thought that was a curious use of that investment in his training.

I have another friend that was a dentist in the Amry in Iraq. He and the other dentists in his group were assigned gate checkpoint duty in Baghdad. Or wherever that main base was. He and the other dentists protested like holy hell saying that they were not trained to do checkpoint and they would be putting everyone else in danger. The protesting dentists eventually won the argument and they didn't have to do checkpoint.

So maybe Ron the lawyer really did go on patrol and stuff. I don't know that he every claimed he did. Just being there was dangerous. One of the guys I knew in undergrad died in the cafeteria suicide bombing up north. He was an officer in the Army.

I like Ron and he had my support early, but his entire campaign start-to-finish has been an absolute and unmitigated failure.

He stayed silent when he shouldn't have been on attack. Then he attacked late but managed to come off bitter and whiney.

He has the best track record in the country of actually leading a large state through the pandemic and against wokeness - and literally none of those talking points were communicated in a way that resonated with common voters.

I agree he's past the point of no return and honestly needs to hang it up. Even Haley will beat him if Trump gets taken out of the race somehow.

I don't get this argument. No politician is going to debate when they're substantially ahead in the race. There's no upside, only downside to doing that, so he won't do it and I don't blame him. DeSantis and Haley would do the same thing in his position. Cry about why the country deserves a full debate all you want but it's not going to happen and it has never happened. There won't be a senate debate this year even though Ted Cruz has challengers. Because Cruz would never agree to debate people who don't threaten him. There's one way to make Trump debate - threaten him in the polls.
