I thought this was fake news.

As coach, he's a teacher, father figure (which many of his players lacked most of their lives), business advisor (for ones good enough for the next level) and is also tasked with keeping up appearances for his employer, the school.

He's 100% in the right here. Good on him.

Good coach. It is not about politics, it is about the game.
If the team stands you stand. If the team kneels you kneel.

There are aspects of Deion's self-promotion that I have never liked, but the man is an exceptional talent, works hard, has high standards, and demands accountability. We need more Deions in this country.
