I'm pretty sure Trump was under the false impression that Epstein was an investment manager and either Epstein was at least knowledgable enough to talk a good game (he had millions that he was managing, but he got those through blackmail and other similar means) or Trump wasn't as sophisticated in investment circles outside of real estate enough to know the difference. Whatever the rub was, it is clear that Trump wasn't doing much, if anything, with Epstein past the mid-90s and nothing after he got wind of what Epstein was actually doing.

The Supreme Court released the documents showing where Chief John Roberts was, and there are witnesses who verified it. He was at public events so he was not on the plane based on all of the publicly released information.
