The problem is the other 46% are Uber pissed about it, and will be out for blood. Trump has created a large base of "conservatives" that act like democrats.

In what ways are "conservatives " acting like Democrats?

Attacking actual conservatives from the left. Promoting idiotic, liberal ideas just because Trump says it...stuff that Obama wishes he thought of.

Not sure how anyone that considers themselves even remotely conservative could vote for the NE lib named Trump .

Not sure how anyone remotely conservative would vote against Trump in the general.

Same reason to not vote for Biden: someone isn't a liberal , like they both are.
Sitting out or voting third party thereby allowing Biden to cruise to a victory will result in hundreds of liberal cabinet appointments, liberal federal judges, and a potentially multiple liberal SCOTUS picks. The moment SCOTUS leans left again they will be flooded with lawsuits the likes of which we've never seen before, that will go to the liberals by default, and this country is officially done and everyone you know is destined to live under an authoritarian dictatorship in abject poverty.

I don't see how anyone that despises liberalism can sit back and let that happen just because they don't ideologically align 100% with the Republican nominated in the general. Primaries are where you make your ideological stand (who "earned" your vote) and you vote to keep the commies out in the general. It's sad, that's what our elections have devolved into, but when you have a force as evil as the Democrat party and the people that fund them, then you might have to make decisions you don't like for self preservation.

Republicans just have to suck less than Democrats right now and that has led to gross incompetence, which we desperately need to correct in the primary season. I'm not sure how to do, that but letting Democrats win in the interim is not it. They will continue to flood the country with illegals, give them amnesty (once Texas is blue we're done), change voting laws to allow easy cheating, and make PR and DC states. That will make it so that Republicans won't have a chance to correct course and Democrats will effectively have the senate, house, presidency and SCOTUS and will do whatever it takes to never give them up and nobody will be able to stop them. I don't know about you, but I don't want to live under one party communist rule.

We keep choosing more and more liberal candidates as the supposed conservative party. Mind-numbingly ****ing stupid.

That "hard right" candidate flipped Miam Dade. Swing voters clearly want common sense conservatives without the circus of Trump.

Clearly you can't refute the point so you don't even try. Miami, a purple or even light blue area very reflective of the states we need to flip back, had no problem electing a "hard right" candidate. Neither did Georgia or Virginia.

I Don't agree. Especially since we haven't even tried.

Definitely not a reason to run liberals like Trump or Haley.

So you want me to refute the point you made, that had no relevance to what I originally stated? I clearly stated PRESIDENTIAL elections and you bring in STATE politics. Act like you understand the difference.

Ah yes, we're going with there being zero correlation between elections at different levels. I guess DeSantis, Haley, Youngkin, Kemp etc. can't win the presidential election because they've never won a presidential election. Great point.

You sure about that? Folks are starting to look at their finances and are disagreeing with you, as much as you hate to hear it.
My finances are pretty good right now. Who is failing in this economy?
The entire middle class that can no longer afford to buy a home for starters thus causing them to pay more in rent and also harming middle class real estate agents suffering through the worst time for anyone to buy a home since 1981. I could go on and on about many other facets of life but housing seems to be the most important.

Dang! Home values are also up?
Irrelevant.

If you have a home either paid for or a large % of the mortgage paid off and want to move to another home you will be paying a lot more for that home. Exceptions would include moving from an area where home prices have been extremely high to another area where home prices are more moderate, like for California to Texas.

Basically your statement is not germane the the conversation.

Yes, we do that in the primary. When that candidate doesn't win the primary then we swallow our pride and do what it takes to keep the Democrat from winning. Next time we learn from our mistakes and make adjustments to try to win the primary again. If the Democrat wins the general, that next time might not come or it'll be purely ceremonial because the Democrats will have rigged the elections to ensure a general win everytime.

Not the question at hand. Your response fits in questions about the primary. In the general election I will be voting Republican.

No offense, but DJT has done more in 1 year of his life than you've accomplished in real-estate over the entirety of your career. (See 2015-16)

I'm certainly not his biggest fan, but I tend to think harsh critics who move towards ad hominems are really just goofy narcissists.

If you're going to ad hom someone, maybe do it to a target that can't literally crush your entire life with a few phone calls lol?

The choice is pretty simple at this point. Vote R, or vote for a party that wants to destroy & control your life.

I'll vote R if we select the best, conservative choice we've had in my lifetime (including Reagan). If not, then I'll vote for a conservative 3rd party candidate or write-in a conservatives name.

I'm not a liberal, so why would I vote for even a liberal R?
