I was a Cruz guy but I gave Trump a chance. I was a full throated supporter of Trump after he was elected. If you want to look at my "post history" from 2017-2020 you can certainly see that. If he is the nominee in '24 I will vote for him. That said in the meanitme we have a much better option and this is the time to discuss it, during the primaries. I think Trump needs to retire and there is no way an 80 year old with his baggage should be our guy if we have another option, honestly he looks more like Biden to me every day.

Trump is not the nominee yet and primaries are exactly when we should be discussing these things. I do get annoyed that so many seem to want to act as if Trump has already won when not a vote has been cast. I still don't get how showing video and pictures and quotes from him means I have TDS. If that is what you think so be it. I already said I would vote Trump if he is the nominee and have said that for a very long time so not sure how that makes me look "silly" but ok.

I think if he is the nominee he loses Goldwater style but I'd be thrilled to be wrong if that's what it comes down to. I'll gladly eat crow or look silly or whatever, I care a hell of a lot more about my kids future than any of that and my biggest fear is that Goldwater style beating and what it will mean.

Anyway, it is annoying as hell that Trump's buddies are doing all they can to destroy one of the biggest wins in the culture war for conservatives in recent memory for money.

No, individuals choosing not to buy a product is not cancel culture. But when they go out of their way to try and get Chik Fil A kicked out of airports, etc. then yes that is cancel culture. They are trying to cancel Chik Fil A from participating in certain aspects of society.
