1) What do you do when you do something that black people are supposed to be the best at, but you are white? Apologize. Profusely.

2) Smoked brisket might be southern, kinda, but it is definitely not "soul food" anymore than french fries are.

I'm in London Heathrow now but flying to Prague in a couple of hours, I'll be sure to bomb Germany from my flight.

Smoked brisket is a Jewish Deli meat first served in Texas.

Smoked? Corned beef, sure, but never figured on smoked. Perhaps I learned something today.

Also German and Czechs communities in Texas slow roasted brisket (not necessarily smoked)
Corned Beef (salted) you can blame on the Irish.

Surely the masses are starting to realize how racist pop-culture is?

That was incredibly racist

Just crop dust the aisle of the plane and give us a report on responses. Just remember, they're Europeans. They smell already, so who cares.

I think that's how the left and the culture would literally like to see white people. They should be apologizing for everything they do and if they do accomplish something of note, just keep apologizing.

Smoking meats was done by many cultures as it preserves it longer. The brisket was one of many cuts of meat smoked. It was a cheaper tougher meat, so smoking or slow roasting it softened it up.

The only thing that might be unique is how different groups might have spiced the meats over time. I know my Czech forbears put a LOT of pepper on meats once they could get it.

Pepper? Sounds like cultural appropriation from Asia

Yep. If only the basis for human culture itself wasn't idea exchange. Our sociology is literally based upon it: innovation and imitation. It is what we do.

That was funny!

It required cultural/social awareness - I bet the guest comedian had a hand in that. Cause that's not modern SNL in my experience. And I used to LOVE SNL.

If you think that was funny and you're calling him "the comedian," I'm guessing you haven't watched Nate Bargatzi's specials on Netflix. If not, they are worth it. He is absolutely hysterical.

Kenan Thompson (the male judge) has done some pretty good comedy in the past. Wouldn't call him right wing, but at least he can see the humor on both sides.

Nate is hilarious. His clips on YouTube are good too.

2) But they still, after 4 years, have never once found a way to parody Biden. Apparently his presidency and his personal behavior has all been so perfect that there is simply nothing to make fun of

A good corned beef is awesome if it's not over spiced.

Can confirm Czechs like pepper. I put a ton of black pepper on everything, and have to be careful not to piss off the wife.

True, we had a smoke house my great grandfather built (on the farm) to smoke pork. Every farm around had a smoke house of some kind. The smoked brisket Texas Jewish link is based on where it was first commercial sold in El Paso (on the record, lots of small grocery stores sold smoked brisket too).

FYI the Germans would also brazed smoked brisket in dark beer and served it with cabbage. At least where I am from.

Came here to post this. Nate Bargetze (how ever you spell it) has the best comedy right now. And it is clean comedy too. I am not afraid to listen to it with my kids around. Greg Warren is another clean comedian who does a great job.

Flagged for violating policy on profanity, promoting violence, hate speech, false information, harassing, and violating the law (at least Texas law).
